Well definately not Bony but where is Iheanacho? Another Eastlands Derby that City needs to win if we are to finish in the top four. It's vertually the 'Last Chance Saloon' for the Reds this season and some of their youngsters will be up for this one. Also, West Ham are in form and right on our tails The Blues are in need of a 'Pep' talk to rid themselves of the recent aparthy we have been watching I'll settle for a 2-1 City win today

Underwhelmed by the build up. Seems rags and us expect the worst and a drab game with scoring being so hard for both sides. We need a win and I still fancy us but dont have a clue about which City will turn up.

Little credit for our result in Kiev and a professional job at the Etihad in difficult circumstances that got us through and added to the country coefficient.
We stand a decent chance against PSG in spite of our up and down performances.

With Kompany fit I would have fancied us to really take them apart today. As it is, it's back to squeaky bum defence time for us. We should win. But it's a derby. We need to win because our top four place is looking at risk. But it's a derby. We have to win because we've been taking the **** out of Van Gall Bladder all season and the thought of seeing his smug mug on MOTD is unthinkable. But it's a derby. 3-0 City.

I start this thread after the event, if for no other reason than to record the fact that it actually happend. It was more of a non-event really in that Kiev didn't show up as a team hoping to win it and never looked like scoring. City on their part played a game of containment rather than going all out for a win. How much that was due to the early loss of Kompany and Otimendi we will never know
Eastlands was a cold place to be last night and there was no sense of real fulfilment in achieving qualification to the quarter finals for the first time, in this so called 'Champions League' competition. The loss of Kompany and Otimendi was also a blow and a threat to our anticiation of thrashing the Reds the coming Derby
I felt very indifferent before and after the match. Kompany's injury was a real sickener.

Unfortunately we have more bruises I would like the rest of the team had a firm and consistent attitude to go forward in two competitions. I still believe!!!
