sagna is out but hart finally gets a start a farewell for the home crowd before moving on.....
mixed up feelings about this, even if he isnt the idea keeper, is he not at 29, able to change and improve his game? isnt that what management does?
however, the next few days will see, i believe, several of our old heroes moving on and out perhaps tonight, a swan song for a flock of seagulls

I thought we played rather well despite thereports of nervousness, cohesion, etc... i believe this started a bright insight of the what the future will be
(so far 11 goals in 3 matches!)

Here I am responding to my own topic on the first match of the season I was about to comment on last nights game when I realised that in fact, I am replying to myself and nobody else is interested or cannot be bothered to look on this site any more, so there is no point in doing so I will now have to seek a new site to share my interest in Manchester City FC

So tonight at 5.30pm Pep will be intrduced to the City faithful and the expectation has been raised once again for the new season Both Moyes (at Everton) and Sunderland have in previous years been a problem to City, I don't think that they should be too difficult to beat at Eastlands tonight. It may take some settling in with the new players, some of which will not start in this first match but I still expect a respectable win for the Blues City 3 - Sunderland 1

Not sure what to make of this performance against Arsenal. Defence is still the main problem and Joe does not instill confidence at all. I think that he will be replaced sometime very soon It's hard to see how the bookies still have us a favourites for the EPL title and the Champions League qualifier looms large. Maybe they know something we don't

Exciting season ahead after the turgid performances of last year.
Todays friendly against Arsenal should give a strong indication of what to expect. Looking forward to see not just the new signings but also see how established players shape up. Young players can also expect a chance. It looks like City are out to build a dynasty.
Interesting that the game is being shown live on Freeview ITV1. Clearly a spoiler for the Community Shield game. These things used to happen against us. It goes to show how far we have come in establishing City as one of the very top clubs in the world.

Yep, Pep has got things going nicely but don't forget, Mourinho and the other EPL rivals are all doing the same so this is going to be an interesting and exiting season Just recieved my new City Season Card and ready for the first match against Sunderland (and Moyes). Pity it has to be at 5.30pm on a Saturday but that's the price of supporting a top ranked club Bring it on p.s. I'm afraid that it may be that we have very little content on this site this season, which is a pity given the great support we used to get

Whoo! what a summer it has been. i have been busy this new work,äbut the club is really kicking into high gear
As of today: Sane Nolito Gundogan Zinchenko
plenty of talk of fernandihno becoming a "pep attacking centreback" which could be interesting
these signings, i guess we will be offloading quite a few, fernando, navas, yaya?
i will be sad to see navas go highly unappreciated and i dont think the guys always passed to him enough to score

England 2 v Wales 1 A poor effort from the ManCity contingency in the first half with Sterling missing a sitter from his only real chance to score and Joe Hart conceding a goal from a 35 yard free kick, albeit from Gareth Bale but he should have really saved it from that distance Thankfully, a last minute goal from ex City player Daniel Sturridge saved the day for England after the equaliser from Vardy
Italy looked good against a very good-looking Belgium side (on paper)
Iceland 2 - England 1 - 27th May 2016 Joe and Raheem made scapegoats for Englands performance but they were no worsr that the rest and we have to admit that Iceland deserved the win. England were embarrasing
