Exciting season ahead after the turgid performances of last year.
Todays friendly against Arsenal should give a strong indication of what to expect. Looking forward to see not just the new signings but also see how established players shape up. Young players can also expect a chance. It looks like City are out to build a dynasty.
Interesting that the game is being shown live on Freeview ITV1. Clearly a spoiler for the Community Shield game. These things used to happen against us. It goes to show how far we have come in establishing City as one of the very top clubs in the world.

We were handed a get out of jail card by West Ham and need to do the business at Swansea. Pessimism and disillusionment with LvG at OT is worse than here and in such a topsy turvy season I can see us losing and the rags drawing with City qualifying for CL

Underwhelmed by the build up. Seems rags and us expect the worst and a drab game with scoring being so hard for both sides. We need a win and I still fancy us but dont have a clue about which City will turn up.

Little credit for our result in Kiev and a professional job at the Etihad in difficult circumstances that got us through and added to the country coefficient.
We stand a decent chance against PSG in spite of our up and down performances.

Kelechi Iheanacho better than Balotelli and realising the potential Mario never realised.
Villa were woeful. Keli's goalscoring makes the news but his all round play also catches the eye.
Good to see Angelino, Celina and Humphrey make an appearance and Barker was on the bench. Humphrey only had a few minutes on his debut but is a very young local lad who seems destined to have a great future at CB. I cannot remember a younger CB playing for City.
The rebuilding is well under way. Exciting times ahead with young players making their mark to add to Sterling and KdB.

The Sergio and Yaya goals were top drawer. We remain the team to beat. City fans have been spoiled in recent years.
A Norwich player on MotD, who had curled in a goal, spoke of doing a "Yaya" when interviewed.
